There was a time when friends and family asked me to cook for them but I refused. The conclusion: She just knows to eat!! I am sure my husband concluded the same before we were married (he always denies any such allegations!) But last night when I saw golden puris float on bubbling oil I was thrilled. I don't have too many witnesses (or must I say guinea pigs!) to attest the fact that I can cook but yeah we have survived a year with my cooking (oh I managed to burn the counter top, the cooker and the utensil inside the cooker all in a day... hahahahaha that was fun!)
But the journey sure will continue and hopefully some day I will be commended for my cooking rather than joked about how much I eat!
